In nomine Concordiae · Anno Fundatoris XII

The Founders' Charter

Be it Known unto all who keep faith with the Concord of Vorryn: that the bearer of this charter, having inscribed their name and raised their banner upon these pages, shall be granted a seat at the council, a share of the trade routes, and the sovereign right to found settlements upon the contested isles. Let no roll of the dice, nor knight, nor monopolist's hand undo this compact.

Sealed in the scriptorium of Vorryn by the Three Old Houses, whose roads first met at the crossroads of Eyr. — Scribe Maercus
